My Approach
Life is too precious not to be lived according to who we truly are.
As human beings, we are immersed in a world that is undergoing total transformation. This huge change that is taking place outside is impacting us and causing us to examine patterns of thought and behaviour on a personal and organisational level to become more conscious, clear-headed, authentic and powerful.
I support those seeking new and valid answers for themselves and others.
Rooted in humanistic psychology, I believe that people already have all the resources necessary to make the changes they want and need to make.
Coaching or Therapy?
People who are facing a professional or personal challenge and are looking for professional support sometimes wonder whether they should go to a coach or a psychotherapist.
Coaching and psychotherapy are not the same, as they have different approaches.
The coaching process focuses on a pre-identified problem and is directed towards clearly defined goals in the search for solutions. Once the problem has been clarified and the solution found, the coaching process ends.
Psychotherapy, on the other hand, is an open, healing process. My gestalt and systemic approach allows me to work on the basis of the relationship the patient establishes with me and with themselves, as well as the relationship between their inner parts.
A psychotherapeutic process is successfully completed when the person feels physically and mentally well again and is able to cope satisfactorily with life in general or with specific problems, without the original symptoms. Psychotherapy can only be carried out by professionals trained and licensed by the Ministry of Health.
