When is group therapy a good option?
When you want to work on your problems with the support and companionship of others.
A group therapy space allows you to explore how you build and shape your relationships with others, and how your behaviour, in turn, affects others.
It is in this space of interaction that our thoughts, assumptions, attitudes, emotions and behavioural response patterns – whether conscious or unconscious – become apparent and can be observed, analysed and changed.
In a group, it is also possible to constellate the inner parts of the personality, which provides a more immediate and deeper understanding of our inner dynamics. It is of immense value to see on the outside what is happening on the inside, as understanding is the first step towards integration and healing.
